Every life is precious!
This is a non-profit organization that is very close to my heart. Volunteer photographers provide remembrance photography for parents suffering the loss of a baby. I got involved in this organization after we had a miscarriage of our sweet daughter, Therese Marie in June of 2009. (Read my story here and here about Therese Marie) Our wedding photographer told me about the organization and I knew right away that I wanted to be involved. This was one special way that I could honor our daughter, as we never were able to have pictures of her, as we lost her at 9 weeks, so I am honored to give the gift to families of professional portraits of their precious ones they have lost. I know my sweet Therese Marie is giving me the strength to endure through the heart wrenching sessions. These images are an important part in the healing process for families who have experienced a loss of their baby.
It breaks my heart when a family who has experienced a loss was not given the opportunity to utilize the services of this beautiful organization. I desire to raise the awareness of this organization so that no family misses out on this important gift. I hate that such an organization has to exist, but I am so grateful that it does!
